Probably because most European politicians have not yet realized what the Russians' war aims are.

Many still believe these are territory, and that if the war gets "too bad" you can just trade away some pieces of #Ukraine in exchange for peace.

Chamberlain also made this mistake in 1938.

I agree, although the issue is the NK troops are being used in Russia, not Ukriane - which obviously is directly supporting the Russian war effort but diplomatically difficult for the West to take action against.

Sadly this decision is down to politicians who have a cold war view of how powerful russia is and are afraid of reactions.

The allies need understand that one day; Putin will die, the russian economy will collapse, or they will capitulate in Ukraine - or a combo.

They shouldn't be afraid of this.

2/2 Of Course 1 million dead and maimed Russia soldiers should be enough to teach anyone that aggressive expansionism is not a rewarding way of running Russia's foreign policy. But with the Russian circular way of thinking, the opposite is always true.

The fact that Putin won't rule Russia forever should make the Leaders of the Western Democracies more apt to put pressure on Russia at this moment. Future leaders of Russia are sitting in the wings and learning what works and doesn't work when dealing with the West.

Ukraine would be justified in attacking North Korea. I wish they would do it. Logistically, it would obviously be a challenge.
