FWIW Foo Fighters in San Diego 2024 = double the service fee (and don't get me started how much more expensive the ticket price for a good-not-great seat is 😱)
My parents did not allow me to go to this concert (oddly Metallica was fine the previous year), but I tried my damndest to see this show. It was a huge Deal (heh) because The Breeders were hometown heroes. I'll always maintain a chip that I missed it.
I hear you. I def have some of those chips as well. For ex, my dad was gonna take me to see rolling stones with him when I was a teen but my mom guilted him into taking her instead because she missed seeing them live when she was pregnant with me in 75.
yeah I'll always regret not seeing The Ramones. Had a ticket to Lollapalooza 96, but skipped it to go on a date. Luckily I married her, so on that end it worked out splendidly; I thought "no WAY Ramones won't tour again," and then Joey died 😔
So many regrets related to shows. Some my fault and some not, like when I showed up with my buds to lollapalooza 94 in Daytona Beach only to find out it was canceled. Had rained a ton the night before and stages were sinking in mud. No make-up date. Just refund. Beastie Boys were on that show...😭
