Rocket test launch from Vandenburg AFB. My father used to tell me when they would be doing a launch. He was a (a stupid term, but it describes his career) “A Rocket Scientist”. Worked on designs of Titan Missles to the space shuttle solid rocket booster. Also F-16 and F-18 jet engines.
Thanks! 💗 I used to work in intellectual property rights and litigation for a long time. I was a trial coordinator. I worked with “rocket scientists” who were attorneys. 😂🤣💗
Oh wow, that’s pretty cool. He’s taking a different flight pattern, depending on where they want the satellite to end up sitting. I live a block from the beach so normally I see them going across the ocean Boulevard.
Looks very similar to what we saw a couple of years ago just south of Barstow. We read in the paper the next day it was a rocket launch from Vandenberg AFB.
Yes- I’m just outside of santa barbara and it scares the shit out of my dog- they are pretty pictures, but i am over president elon’s toys. Happens way too often.
First time I saw one was about 20 years ago. I had only been living in Long Beach for a year and it scared the daylights out of me because it was a dark sky, and it first looked like a flame, and then it turned into that sperm cloud and I thought for sure we were being attacked by aliens.🤣🤣🤣🤣
Saw something similar decades ago, but the plume was a rich green. Saw it driving home at night. "Missile test failure" or sum such was what was on the news.
