It's an absolute travesty that as an evolved society we're still eating large animals for protein and not focussing on much more efficient and sustainable parts of the food chain, like grubs and bugs

It sounds awful, but we could easily make sausages, mince, burgers, nuggets, (anything processed, basically) out of bug and grub protein and, with the right flavourings and textures, you'd never know the difference. Also, prawns, etc, are basically sea bugs, and we have no problem eating them...
Okay, you start a company that does that and see how it pans out for you. What is possible on paper is not going to help convince people to eat something they don’t want to.
Meh, anything's possible with the right marketing. Donald Trump, Boris Johnson, Brexit, the entire cosmetics industry, Nando's, worcester sauce, Zack Snyder...
If eating bug burgers was the price of no more Brexit or Trump, or never seeing Boris Johnson's smug face (or those of his family) I'd happily do it...
I'm known by my friends for eating anything. But I don't know whether insects taste great or not, because the idea revolts me and I haven't tasted any.
