No one really wants or needs seven CDs of backing tracks and alternate takes of their favourite album. No artist's discography has ever been improved by the inclusion of stuff they didn't put out officially.

Keeps it interesting when you’ve played an album about a thousand times to hear a different take.
Seven CDs would be pushing it but an extra CD, maybe two, is often worth a listen.
Thought I'd listen to the first Garbage album the other day, not heard it in 30 years & the only version on the streaming app was a re-release with 62 tracks. Yeah I know I could press stop, but there's just something cack about a music service that plays shit unless you hover over the stop button.
im a huge fan too and have heard the whole thing once, it was cool and there are a few demos in my playlist but I don't see myself listening to it again anytime soon
I love the early version of And Your Bird Can Sing. It was a revelation hearing it.
Also, Not Guilty was never put out while the Beatles were together but it's one of my favourites of theirs.
If this is about Dylan releasing every take and note recorded in a studio, pretty sure it's (partly) due to keeping the copyright active for another 50 years.
Disc 4 Track 1 of the Synchronicity Super Deluxe pretty much backs up Andy Summers argument that he deserves a writing credit for Every Breath You Take.
So up yours.
Andy Summers and I went to the same secondary school and had the same English teacher. She kept examples of his work, saying she knew someday he'd be big. Kept some of mine, too. I'm still waiting ...

I go back to them to remind myself where I was going and what I was thinking about
(Yes, that includes McCartney or Dylan)
You're shouting at a small shiny disc Karen
Luckily Apple Music also has the 12 track 20th anniversary edition available.
Day In A Life however sounds wrong not falling from the sky fully formed.
