The 24 hour clock is the superior format, but years of translating it to the 12 hour equivalent has affected the value of the number 13; it doesn't feel 3 more than 10. Something costing £13 is especially deceptive.

I agree with the first bit 100%. If I notice an adult with a 12 hour clock on their phone, my conclusion is that they are a complete idiot and not worth my time.
Weird but ai get it. Three doesn’t always feel like nearly a third of ten, it feels like a few. The trick is to think in increments of 12 like an old timey person.
