That has happened to me a few times. I get so focused on a battle that when I look in my inventory afterwards, I see shit I should've used to make my life easier ππ
PROUD OF YOU π
I'm trying to break the habit too but also keeping a certain amount.
Like if the max amount of potions that can be carried is 10, I'll always try selling 3 if enemies/chests keep giving me some to make some cash but also use half of them in battles if needed. Inventory managementπΏ
Okay, hear me out, I play mostly rpgs and by the time I'm doing anything "serious" I've usually built a character that can handle it. So I actually use my items early game to getting to that level.
πππ I'm going to adopt that mentality from now on LMAO
*rolls credits with full inventory* I hope it helps them in their life regardless ππ My gift to your happy ending: a lifetime supply of ammo and healing items! π€£
WE'RE THE SAME π I'm trying to get better at using items but idk why I keep hoarding for "emergencies". *credits roll* THERE WAS NEVER A BIG ENOUGH EMERGENCY π π
Narrator: She died in some battles but didn't use any rare elixirs, so there WERE some emergencies...
I'm proud for actually NOT doing this for ff7 rebirth. Those mega elixirs and mist mega elixirs came in handy. And once you get used to using consumables, you don't feel the need to hoard as much
In almost every game thatI have ever played this has happened almost every single time &the items are mostly barley used in a fight,or two, or the last fight, or inDLC especially after the main game is over!! This absolutely has to change in video gamesI 100% agree& have for the past20 plus years!!π
My toxic trait is going to the item shop in any game and maxing out all my items for absolutely no reason, I just like seeing everything uniformly x99 π€£ and I use none of them
And during the game my thought process is "Oh man this fight is kicking my butt should I use my items? Nah if this is hard I'll probably need them more later I'll just keep dying till it all goes right"
I think you know the answer is never. We're doomed to end the game with 52 revives, a couple hundred potions, dozens of antidotes and several mana potions π

I horde like a banshee
Kill as many monsters as possible with just my melee weapon
And on the last boss I'll have like 300 handgun bullets and like 40 health drinks, and still get mad using them in the final fight lol

AND HEY, WHAT IF EVERYTHING CARRIES INTO NG+?!

In my personal defense, I might need it later, though! π
