that was my first thought, but idk how well the Rice Dust is gonna work with the exposed connectors from all the ports 😠id be more willing if i had the godforsaken micro-screwdriver they be using, or some canned air to help with cleanup. its on my carpet in as many pieces as i can get rn RIP
If you live somewhere with a Harbor Freight store near enough, they sell small screwdriver sets that I believe have the screwdriver bit that fits nintendo devices.
Else iFixit and Amazon have screwdriver kits that may have the driver bit needed to get it open.
Rice unfortunately will not get all the moisture out, especially in tiny electronics. The best solution is to get it open so it can dry, and then gently clean any corroded parts with q-tips and 70-90% rubbing alcohol.
Not recommended to turn it on until you're sure it's dried out and the potential corrosion is clean. The corrosion can create connections between components that are not meant to be connected and permanently damage them.
If you don't feel comfortable opening it up or can't find the screwdriver bits to get it open, may wish to find a well-rated retro gaming shop that can open it up and clean it.
