McConnell stood on the Senate floor & said Trump was guilty of the crimes for which he was impeached. Yet he gave senators a cop-out, claiming the Senate couldn’t convict someone who left office, even though precedent didn’t support that. Now here we are, stuck in this nightmare. Thanks Moscow Mitch
