Obama came to Huntsville, but there was a fundraiser here & one later that evening in Birmingham. That's about the only reason a Dem candidate will show up in AL for the foreseeable future.
It would have been nice to see Harris make a quick stop in support of Figures. But not enough time I guess.
Trump came to Pensacola (twice, I believe) during his first campaign. I protested outside the first time, but couldn't stomach the second. But, yeah, Dems definitely need to stop discounting the South, and stop sending surrogates. They need to get everywhere!

I know the reasons POTUS & VPOTUS didn’t do more US travel while in office, but I do wish they’d been able to do more, get to all fifty states between them.
I’m in a red county in Missouri (but right next to St. Louis County). Not a single Democrat was on the ballot for county offices. Not one. Republicans ran unopposed. Not so long ago, we were a purple state. Pretty certain Kamala just flew over.
