It might have something to do with RTE reporting IDF press releases as fact but Gaza Dept of Health figures as 'according to Hamas led Dept of Health.
Note: IDF press releases are notoriously full of lies and Gaza Dept of Health figures have been checked and verified for years.

I don't think they present IDF reports as "fact". But when distinguishing Palestine reports as "Hamas led" yes, I can see how it might be misconstrued.
