Republicans still maintain a slight majority in the House. I realize that a Trump-appointed judge did reinstate jobs for federal workers but that doesn’t mean it’ll happen every time. It’s not being defeatist, it’s being concerned about living in a fascist state where rules/laws don’t apply.
