Nope. This is going to be 'era like'. I know these changes might frighten people who are era-purists, but to some degree these things we introduced for the new fresh realms feel right. More than that might tip over into "too many changes" category.

Weird that its been 20 yrs since classic beta ended. There was a nice special thanks out to about 50 of us beta testers. A few years later I met my wife, she was a huge wow fan, but I had stopped playing. Her friend did a search for me and found the special thanks.. and told her to marry me!

Thanks for sharing. Looking for a way back to wow/classic. I loved chaining time based moves in classic, versus the dynamic and arcade retail, but population started thinning out around 30 if you didnt belong to a large guild. So this sounds like anniversary realms are a do-over, every 2 years?

I wish one classic version will have aoe looting someday... someday.

But the LFG tool in SOD is a blessing, wish we had that before, it's going to be such a QOL feature for those classic servers.

I prefer the retail one, but that's 1000x better than /4

One additional QoL change that I’d love to see (that you added to other realms) would be adding elemental earth/fire/water to gathering professions, and random black lotus on high lvl herbs. True vanilla block lotus mechanics are toxic af, and both of these changes were really well received
