So, what if you DON'T drink. What will reward me with any energy, any sleep, and, any better health? Don't say vitamins. I take those; my nails look great.
I did a Dry January one year that lasted for seven and a half months.
I had a drink at a beach party in July and had to sit down for a little while, that buzz threw me for a good one.
Good Luck Everyone, and Happy New Year!
Not partaking this year. Have so the past 6/7 years. My slightly alcoholic friends and family did not take the hint. This year I will finish my coquito.
I have two suggestions for people attempting this. (1) the newer non-alcoholic beers are better than ever (2) they make some pretty good non-alcoholic Campari type aperitifs that you can use to make decent mocktails.
Your body treats alcohol like it’s a poison, which means the only rational decision is to stop drinking it all-together. Alcohol is also one of the leading causes of death, it perpetrates domestic violence and poor judgment. We’re better off without alcohol overall.
Absolutely! A break from alcohol isn’t just a detox, it’s a chance to reset and recharge. Imagine waking up refreshed and full of energy, ready to conquer the day! Anyone else experiencing the benefits of Dry January?
Perhaps you should take your own advice and fight aginst on the fascism you're supporting instead. Jimmy Carter was humble and great, greater than the lot of you.

Not this year…. Not this year.
