This week’s deadly incidents in New Orleans and Las Vegas have thrust Turo, a car rental platform, into the spotlight, after the cars used in both attacks were rented through its marketplace.

Canada and Mexico need to beef up their border security to keep Americans and their domestic terrorists out of their countries. Americans are dangerous.
Because Turo offers more variety in what car you can rent, and people who kill people sometimes like making statements, so might seek out a specific model, or at least, a specific type of car.
You mean Turo is to blame because it’s far more customer-centric than legacy rental outfits which exist to serve manufacturers’ inventory disposal needs? Just because these two perpetrators were sick doesn’t mean they were dumb as well.
It's alarming how incidents like these can overshadow the countless positive experiences users have with platforms like Turo. The focus should be on ensuring safety and accountability while also recognizing the wider issues at play. Let's hope for swift resolutions and lessons learned.
