I love my new bookworm! This was a craft initiated by a 6th grade student for our Maker Monday program! It’s always fun to have students take the lead and see fellow students so supportive and enthusiastic! #MakerMonday #TLsky #Skybrarian

What an adorable bookworm! Is it straw weaving? I will definitely be adding this project to my makerspace 😊 Did you use color changing yarn or were the different colors tied together?
Yes, it’s straw weaving, and this was color changing yarn. Students really enjoyed this activity and many asked if they can return to make more. (Of course they can!)
