I disagree. Many democrats are just totally exhausted. What is the path? Maga have control of every lever. It turns out Maga supporters don’t care about egg and gas prices or inflation. They follow blindly off a cliff.

Also people on bluesky seem to totally not get that Trump’s approval is currently higher than his disapproval. Democrats have been crying wolf (rightly) for 8 years and it has gotten them nothing. There’s even a term for it, “Trump derangement syndrome.”

Dems deliberately holding back criticism and working with trump bc they are afraid of his popularity - Dems did this in 2002 with Bush and Iraq, then had the worst midterm performance for an out of power party in modern american history - is not going to help anything
