Somebody else said "What if it was a child who came in harms way over a pot hole like that one" (and also called him stupid).
His reply was as thick as brick and I hope he's sued for this:

I should have clarified: This all started with somebody, on a community Facebook group, saying well done to the council for fixing a pot hole and that it had been a hazard to cyclists.

And when he's referring to the "small island", does he mean The island of Ireland, or somewhere like the Aran Islands?
