My little baby is just starting to pop em out!! Yours is so full!! I saved this one when it was super tiny. She’s a stubborn thirsty brat but I love her!! 🪴
I used to have one that belonged to my grandmother. It was over 100 yrs old. I would periodically make cuttings and gift them to others. Alas, it finally withered when I was gone from my home for 5 months.
Christmas cactus that bloom early, like now, are sometimes called Thanksgiving cactus. And of course, Christmas cactus.
This is why I love Blue Sky, us plant heads can get together and exchange information!
indeed. mine is a thanksgiving cactus, albeit an American thanksgiving cactus. :) i'm in ottawa and have a neighbour who has managed to keep
one alive for decades. in her outdoor garden.
I’m in the PNW, and we have the cactus outside in the front garden with 4-5 hours of morning sun. From May-October. So now, they are starting to bloom. I’ll take pictures tomorrow. They are all in the back room with southern light exposure.

Oddly enough my Christmas cactus never starts blooming until around March.
