7 more states are set to take part in #USDA 's mandatory bulk tank testing program looking for #H5N1 #birdflu in dairy cow herds. Indiana, Maryland, Montana, New York, Ohio, Vermont & Washington will join California, Colorado, Michigan, Mississippi, Oregon, and Pennsylvania.

When H5N1 becomes politicized, people will start *promoting* raw milk as "safer" and point to this testing as evidence that normal milk is infected (conveniently ignoring the fact that the samples are collected prior to pasteurization).
You are just making things up to disparage #LiveMilk which is in tested far far more than conventional, batches kept seperate, etc
Conventional dairies are far bigger and have Zero incentive to keep animals healthy, making them incubators for pathogens and zoonoses
Say what you want, but the facts remain the same: H5N1 has only been found in raw milk so far, not pasteurized milk.
My comment is clear. We all know that virus can end up in Un-Pasteurized milk because its *ghasp* 👉Un-Pasteurized😮
But the fact is that nearly every person in america infected by H5N1 is a conventional farm worker because giant farms are incubators for zoonotic pathogens
Like, yeah, people that work closely with animals tend to be at the greatest risk of contracting zoonotic diseases... That's nothing new or surprising and has nothing to do with anything I'm talking about.
We are on the same team man.. your attack is unnecessary
You cannot downplay the effect of massive monocultures and corporate cattle farms inaction on disease prevention by casting shade
Of course, they'll bring the price down after the catastrophe has passed, right? Right??
Conventional dairies have no real incentive to keep their animals pathogen free because the milk get pasteurized
Regular milk contains pathogens, straw and literal shit.. better hope their pasteurization gear is working properly
