This article lands the day after my house and contents renewal landed, with an extra $300 above last year, and now totalling an extra $800 over 3 years.
Insurance companies know the cost of climate change.

Yep, ours has doubled in the last 2 years. I recently rang them and they stated it was due to increased material costs, weather events, and geocoding.
