Understandable since I think the immense cost of tracking that wouldn't really be worth the minor pay-off - plus, as pretty as I think it looks, I'm not really sure it makes a ton of sense, ha ha! 😅😛
Dont mention it, the show was great, it was the first time I feel connected(?) more like feel the same way with Carol too, the illustration of course are top notch ✨
fwiw, that pandemic-era streaming bubble money definitely helped 👀 it allowed us to take a chance with a unique concept, pull together some great talent, & actually have the time to make something amazing 😫💖 unfortunately, that's hard to come by these days
Yes! It really hit the timing just right. It was so surreal to be making a show about the world ending while we were all in lockdown and everything was so uncertain. We all cried watching the last episode's animatic.
yeah for real. I still feel... conflicted.... if they'd actually showed the end happening, it would've just kinda been too much, very "Don't Look Up" ish. But they didn't, and that feels weird too, I wanted to "be there" with everyone when it happened. I totally respect the choice SO much though
