The way that I view the defensive position is perhaps more conservative than others, but this has largely rewarded me this season.

Moving into the midfielders, my preferred set up is to focus on budget midfielders who offer a ton of value. I'll dedicate a separate section to this in it's entirety.

Players such as Jordan Pickford, Mats Selz have considerably more points, at a lower price than even David Raya.
These are "Defense First" football clubs and should be seriously considered.
