As slightly biased towards SMT as I am nowadays, P5R really got me hooked into JRPGs for good; the only ones i finished before p5r were ff7 & chrono trigger, and before that it was pokemon, mario rpg, paper mario etc;

Even the ones I wasn't a fan of & couldn't finish (Xenoblade 1, FF8, Tales of Vesperia), I wouldn't have ever gave them a try 1-2 years ago
