We have a reprieve, like Mexico, for a month, so we’re relieved. But we will always be cautious about the goodwill of a neighbour we trusted. Americans are lovely, but sometimes their government is scary.

We're trying. I'm working now to see if I can move my job over, and my husband is as well. I used to live in Nob Hill--and when we visited last month, it just felt like home to both of us. So we're giving it a year to get over there!

My brother (Cdn) lived in Maryland for a few years. When he move into his house, he put up his Cdn flag. A neighbor stopped by and told him it was best to be taken down, American flags only.
