Given how poorly Labor have performed against promises since the last election, I’m feeling pretty cynical about this tbh.

To be clear, because the text in the link isn't, oral contraceptives are already on PBS. This adds two new ones, the first new additions in decades. Yaz also treats PMDD (not sure from the article if it'll be listed for that in Australia, though), Yasmin is straight birth control.
