American here. No, we wouldn’t. The members of the trump cult believe Putin is a friend and hero. I can’t explain it except to say we are not as dumb as you think we are. We are actually WAY dumber than that. Hope this helps.
The Russians still pay Trump and his family, and he admires despotic dictators whilst showing utter contempt for his own country. And enough people have bought into his cult that it wouldn't make any difference.
