I’m seeing everyone posting about it being the start of spring today and I’m so confused because I’ve been taught my whole life the start of spring is the spring equinox, usually 20th/21st March?

There's this school of thought that "calendar spring" which is different than meteorological spring. March, April, May on the calendar is spring, not equinox to solstice. And so on
