We took a day trip to LA a few weeks ago which always requires a downtown stop at Philippe’s, the originator of the French dip sandwich. Philippe’s is the bomb!! Ppl will fight you and say Cole’s is the OG LA French dip, but Philippe’s will always have my heart because of the floor ♥️

Yes! I love the sawdust floor too. The service is always top notch as well. From what I understand many of the employees have been there multiple decades bc ownership takes such great care of em🙂
