Last time I visited, I took a short bus/ subway trip from WeHo to Silverlake to meet up with some friends. They were horrified. Wanted to give me a ride back to my hotel. When I said I was fine taking the same route back they just couldn’t process it. It’s just not part of the culture for Angelinos
