Austrian coalition talks between the far-right Freedom party (FPÖ) & Austrian People‘s Party failed. Given the anti-EU, anti-migrant and pro-Russian sentiments of FPÖ and its leader Herbert Kickl it is certainly good news. Yet, all this happens 136 days after elections. High noon for compromises!

Heute hat mich Herbert Kickl informiert, dass die FPÖ und die ÖVP sich nicht auf eine Regierung einigen konnten. Und daher hat er heute den Regierungsbildungsauftrag zurückgelegt. (1/6)
