Not to mention idk how ppl compile their stuff for easier access. I had a bad experience of scrolling almost endlessly through reblogs just for some art 😭

And the comment tagging system, no idea how that works either. I HAD THIS APP FOR ALMOST 4 YEARS WHAT IS WRONG W ME

most people use the tagging system! Just have a certain tag you like to use for your art or something consistent like for example you want a way to find all your posts about cats for example then you can tag it "(#)wen looks at cats" or smth (without the brackets) and u ca search via that tag

I'm no expert on the site or anything, it's been years since I was properly active on there but I like how some people are really creative with their tags and make rly cool personalized ones or rly funny ones

the comment tagging system is a mystery to me too ngl but i like that it's easy to edit posts and add links etc when we post

some people also have a masterpost where they compile links of all the posts of something

as for searching usually what works for me is going to the blog/account you want to search on, finding a specific tag for example "my art" or "____ fanart" then clicking that tag should show all related posts tagged with the same tag

that's fair, i also just very recently started using my insta again after years of not using and i am, so lost

idk what anything does on there and i keep accidentally dming ppl by accident bc i didnt realise reacting to their stories goes straight to dms, how embarrassing 💀

YEAH IT DOES THAT and i can't blame you bcuz i also did that by accident once, its a universal experience 😭

The only way you can react to stories w/o accidentally dming ppl is by that little heart botton right next to the share botton, they (somewhat) recently added that feature
