The amount of trade knowledge and hours put in vs price is pretty nuts.

Like what do you mean you spent 15 years practicing, have $2000 in tools and are working for $10 an hour?

this is where im at rn but im Just starting to sell 😔 also because u gotta factor your own labour which is very difficult especially if youre working on things in a non linear way and cant tally time and effort. good luck!!!!!

Mrs. George and I typically generate 4 watercolor paintings a week. We sell them unframed at art events priced on our opinion of quality, the space rent, and the wealth of the community. Commissioned work goes at typical gallery price less 50%. I dislike commissioned work but like the money.
