The idea being that some people agree with some of what Republicans are doing. If you outright bash only them then it drives them further into the conspiracy laden world of the MAGA nuts. If you show people that you’re able to see flaws in your own design you allow them to find the value as well.

The idea is not a good one. I don't think making fun of some of the people outside the cult is how you get people to leave the cult. Sustained exposure to actual non-cult news seems to be the better approach. That does not require both-sidesing anything.

We need our own shouty/propaganda network. Better and broader than Bluesky. Netroots nation way back when was a reasonable start, and it's mostly gone now. Need to get back somehow. We can't compete with their disinfo & slamming dems at the same time as Rs isn't a particularly good solution.

Read your post on taxing vacant land. Living in an exurb this hit home, my area is in a Water and Golf front area the undeveloped lot owners have the same access to the amenities as the Improved property owners who pay 2K-7K annual Township taxes yet undeveloped pay 200 annually. Great idea, thnx
