Again, the cops have shot people for less. Sometimes walking too close to them, sometimes for putting their hand into their pocket after they were told to put their hand into their pocket, sometimes for not following two conflicting commands, and sometimes just for existing.

I was reiterating because you didn't seem to realize. Cops are easily-startled cowards who are trained for paranoia and to see bystanders as threats. Just being near one is extremely dangerous on it's own.
