Subsequently, after the deposit return scheme was banned in Scotland, a unit opens in Canary Wharf, hailed as a UK first. Infrastructure was created in Scotland and despite significant investment, had to be abandoned. Meanwhile Ireland enjoys their scheme's success.

I've reached the conclusion that, whether it was the Tories that led the way or not, -all- the Unionist parties are now routinely "economical with the truth". Starmer/McSweeney's use of deniable weasel words is astounding. Westminster is a failure in democracy.

Reading that whole front page statement it actually doesn’t really promise anything.
Ukgov is certainly keeping to the bit where they say they’ll share resources for the UK, draining Scotland by the day. In comparison to Scotland’s abundant resources, England shares almost nothing in comparison.
