Archiving and preservation (legacy?) are so important it was good to hear you touch on that. It’s a shame that during development, commercial concerns override any aspirations in that regard. All that love and energy that went in to it needs to be accessible for future generations.

if there was a movement or a sort of 'seal' of continuity' where a game guaruntees to opensource its server components. the tech barrier would be to provide open equivalents to identity, achievements, even dlc ownership. but it could be done, ig

We had a nice family visit to LBP with Rocco a few years back and I think another trip is due for Jules (and Bodie!) soon.
It’s fantastic to play with them - the only reason we’ve still got PS3 hardware. 😊
