Work needs completed. Humans who do the work should be compensated fairly for that work. Do you feel that, currently, ag and manufacturing/processing jobs are appropriately compensated?

Right, I’ll work a factory job if I can afford life with it but they never do because greed. Same with field work(which I’ve tried) super sucks for 12/hr
This is where unions and co-ops come in. working 8-12 hours in horrible environments for low pay is not necessary. These are the conditions the bosses set up for us that works best for them.
If compensation were in part linked to the amount of physical stress placed on the body (How many years of your life/QoL does it take off?) and we got rid of the negative stigmas of "manual labor" it would go a long way to solving the problem.

Yeah I love that, that’s a great equation really. Some jobs are so rough on the body and ought to have some limits or improvements in how how the labor is done. Things just need to be people first centered.
This is the kind of conversation about work I don’t see. We should not only talk about them paying more, but also they should be treated like the career of pro-athletes.
