i was just talking to someone who believes that it's impossible for the united states to have prevented isreal from committing war crimes. given my own experience of living through post 9/11 america i'm willing to give that argument some credence!
if we assume it's impossible for america to prevent isreal from pursuing its offensive in gaza then what could we do? i think biden and blinken should have publicly denounced the evictions from north gaza, stopped supporting israel at the u.n., and stopped sending israel weapons
I think the question is what does Israel do if the U.S. leaves and is it worse than what they do if we're constantly nagging them to not do war crimes.
What is the mechanism by which we could stop Israel from committing war crimes in Gaza? I think the only way is "Bomb Tel Aviv," which I'm not opposed to but nobody is willing to commit to.
