This fits in and I suspect 99% of people who got this ad are just fine with it. But I feel a page turning. Cartoon robot replacing a human cartoonist is very Mad Magazine.

That’s been a trend all my life as the old guard died and left the field. And it was based on need and competition. Better art sold better and sold more products. From Rockwell to the Coke Santa. But that really started changing in the 80’s. Budgets cut and taste changed. Especially in print.
