3) I recently delved into Medicaid with @texastribune.org award-winning @eleanorklib.bsky.social in which we found that after pandemic rules ended, TX leaders removed more people faster from Medicaid than any state, costing eligible residents necessary care.

4) Before, I was an immigration reporter with @houstonchronicle.com where I broke the Trump policy of separating parents from their kids at the border months before it was announced. That helped lead to a lawsuit ending the practice & won a Polk award.
