I’ve just resigned from the editorial boards of a couple of for-profit journals. From now on, I’ll only review and write (when I am the first author) for Diamond #OpenAccess journals. Being part of the current system felt increasingly hypocritical.

On the negative side:
- I'm ready to submit a couple of sentencing papers, but the limited range of diamond OA journals in the discipline is, to say the least, discouraging.
- My coauthors are starting to wonder whether I've completely lost my mind.
- I've made a template for rejecting invitations to review for for-profit journals, and honestly, hitting "send" on those is the highlight of my week.
