Yeah, 40 percent cut seems like bad math. Yes its 8 percent X 5 years but the topline figure goes up every year. Plus, as noted, it's more a shifting than a topline cut.

The "40% budget cut from the Pentagon" will actually be a 50% budget cut, from Social Security.

Trump's stupid "base" voters, will cheer it on -- even when that Social Security check stops showing up in their mailboxes.

Then, they'll blame it on Biden, "DEI" and the "lib-rals".
