Had a car in at work today that smelled like a dead animal. I was 99% sure there was a dead mouse somewhere in there. After tearing the center console out I found it, definitely a dead little field mouse. Curled up on a nest made of scraps of sound-deadening insulation. Idk why but it really hurt me
