Never know with Gelhardt, he might yet come good somewhere. I suspect Joseph has a higher ceiling but he needs football where he gets more space - which he would in the PL should we & he get there.

I think He’s going to be a top player. My take on him this season is that when teams play the low block, crowd out defence, he finds it hard to find space.Like most players would really.He’s learning on the job.
I know some fans have written him off, but I think there’s a player there. I really do.

A lot of his game is counter attack rather than box. Not that he can't get on the end of crosses as he showed at the weekend.

I said at the time he should have gone once we were promoted. Bielsa didn't trust him after he returned from injury. He hardly featured in the promotion run in. The writing was on the wall.

It's patently untrue, the club consistently claim they've turned down major bids for players when things haven't gone well for them in a transfer window. Gnonto and Meslier have both had the treatment in recent years, it's embarrassing.
