Did Duke write Kon out of the 2nd half gameplan? Scheyer was outcoached down the stretch.

Houston competed and took away Flagg’s playmaking opportunities. They made him try to beat them by himself.

And there were a few possessions later where Duke tried to trap with their bigs and Houston passed out of it and was able to attack.

I like Scheyer a lot. But, yes, he was outcoached.

I look to the 8:17 to 7:45 mark of the 2nd half. The Duke lead went from 14 to 8 in 32 seconds.

I can’t remember but I think Kon only had 1 or 2 shot attempts in the 2nd half and had only 2 points from the run of play.
