My first impression of the traffic stop body cam was that he was bringing a crew of workers cross country for a job. If you’re troubled by no luggage, you’ve never been around a ‘man camp’ for workers at crappy jobs.

We seem nothing like I imagined us to be in the face of ICE and their illegal actions.

There is no one to call for help, no protection from this UnAmerican activity. It’s up to us to be loud, it’s all we have.

It scares me, and I cannot fathom how immigrants, citizen or legal, can keep on going. They are brave. I’ve told my neighbors of Hispanic descent to call us if needed.

I do not believe a majority is okay with the ICE/DHS/etc roundups. The realization that moms, kids, dads and not criminals are being grabbed in staged situations is spreading and people do not like it at all. But there is nothing you can do. People are getting p-o’d at the sense of helplessness.

I was a federal prosecutor for a long time. This indictment is full of the kind of weasel words the government uses when the evidence is thin. Add to that the fact that a longtime AUSA resigned leaving a very pointed message clearly referencing this case. This could be a train wreck.
