When you cover Rebel News will you mention they’re a registered political advertiser promoting Pierre Poilievre’s interests @jenstden.bsky.social? They have filed papers with Elections Canada.

Third party advertisers, Superpacs in the USA, typically don’t have to declare which positions/issues they will be advocating for when they register in Canada @jenstden.bsky.social .
Is there any other company that puts itself out there as a source of journalism registered as a "political advertiser" for a particular political party? Do Postmedia or CBC or CTV have to do this? I'm just not familiar with what this type of registration means.

I'm sure Barbara Kay would love to give you an interview. 😉
That takes union dues from journalists at the Globe, CBC, CTV, Toronto Star, Vancouver Sun, etc. to campaign against Poilievre.
And the CBC has not one but two SuperPACs this year.
