Warhammer Bretonnians are largely early 14c 'transitional' armor, chain with extra plates over limbs.

A super neat detail is those little shoulder shields, "ailettes", they're for heraldry, possibly glancing blows (jousting encranche are different!), no surviving examples so speculate from artwork.
