I grew up in a deeply conservative family, and mostly home schooled, so I had basically no contact with out queer people. It's a little sad, but legitimately the way I even realised you could be trans was sneaking around, stumbling onto trans porn, and realising, "these women go shopping as women."

I came out some time in 2014 or so, and never looked back.
I'll never forget that, I don't think. I didn't have a lot of support, but he had my back.
